Pakie Mphalele Chairperson of GPF B.A Hons. (Psychology), B.A Hons. (Econonics),B. Ed, H.E.D, M.Sc (Financial Economics) is a business analyst for agencies that offer wholesale finance to micro-finance companies in SA Founding member of Mafori Management Consultants, a consulting firm specializing in micro and housing finance. Prior to that Pakie worked in the following areas: University lecturer (financial economics), Standard Corporate and Merchant Bank, economic development research, national department of finance, National Housing Finance Corporation and the Rural Housing Loan Fund. Pakie offered various strategic, operational and institutional assessment services to financial institutions such as Grand Finance, Standard Bank of South Africa, Transnet Housing, Thuthukani Group Limited and Mpumalanga Housing Finance Company.

Led a number of successful transactions in power generation, transmission and distribution, oil and gas project finance structuring and advisory, toll road project financing and residential property developments. Also led investments in Public-Private Partnerships projects and privatization initiatives. Notable successes in senior executive and non-executive leadership roles in a diverse array of privately held and public companies and industries in South Africa and Africa wide. Recognised as a leading strategic mind, ardent deal negotiator and growth leader in a variety of engagements requiring business intelligence and leadership able to forge sustainable relations in often volatile political and social environments.

Zola Fihlani is founder and managing partner of EVI Capital Partners an investment holding company and private equity firm. He is a former member of the Global Loans team at Absa Capital, an investment bank affiliated with Barclays Capital. He has a total of 15 years banking experience and over 10 years investment banking experience.

Formerly a senior member within the Leveraged and Acquisition Finance team at Barclays Capital, Zola joined Absa Capital in January 2006, following the majority acquisition of Absa Bank Limited by Barclays Bank Plc. At Absa Capital, Zola was mainly responsible for structuring and execution of Leveraged Finance deals. His area of focus mainly included leveraged buyouts, management buyouts and leveraged recapitalizations. He joined Barclays Capital in 2004 after five years with the Project and Structured Finance team at Standard Corporate and Merchant Bank.

Zola is a qualified chartered accountant and holds numerous accounting and tax qualifications. He currently sits on various Boards, Investment Committees and Risk & Audit Committees.

Lefadi Makibinyane is Black South African male (44) with a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) with Honours, Masters of Business Leadership (MBL) and Management Development Program (Project Management) obtained at the University of Teesside (United Kingdom) and the University of South Africa-School of Business Leadership respectively. He is an accredited Professional Engineer and Chartered Engineer.

He has extensive Management/Administrative, Technical/Engineering and Commercial/Financial experience gained at the Blue Chip local and international companies. Lefadi has occupied all professional levels in a corporate including over ten years of Senior/Executive Management. He has intimate knowledge and experience of the South African economic landscape including the Financial Services sector (Development Financing, Commercial & Investment Banking & Export Credit Agency), Mining, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage and Packaging Industry gained at Anglo Coal, ENGEN Refinery, SASOL Synthetic Fuels, NAMPAK, SAB, Industrial Development Corporation, Fieldstone Africa and WestLAB AG. Lefadi is well travelled on the African Continent where he concluded numerous ground-breaking Business Transactions in various sectors.

He is a competently trained board member, currently serving on the Board of Rand Water and has in the past also served on the Board of the Council of Geosciences.

Lefadi has recently joined the City of Tshwane (COT) as the Strategic Executive Director for the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure Development.
   
Dineo Maphatiane

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, and a Diploma in Project Management. A community leader and successful business person in her own right, Dineo boasts extensive experience in Human Resource and Organisational Development. She serves on the board of directors of the State Diamond Trader and provides occasional motivational talks to youth entrepreneurs and student learnerships.
